Couponing Tips

Couponing Tips

1. Every store has different coupon Policies and Rules. It is best to look up your favorite stores Coupon Policies to avoid confusion at the register.

2. Make sure you read the back of the coupon and fine print to ensure you are using the coupon correctly.

3. Always double check the expiry date.

4. Learn the Lingo ie. BOGO, MIR, FPC and more. Click Here

5. Keep Organized! Use a binder with baseball card plastic sheets or buisness card plastic sheets or use an accordian file folder or any other way you like.

6. Always pre-plan a shopping trip. Have a list with all items your price matching or using coupons for and keep coupons oraganized.

7. You will usually run into a cashier that will refuse to accept a coupon for some reason, ask for a manager and explain the situation, always stay calm and respectful some employees are not always fully knowledgeable about coupon policies.

8.Buy in Bulk. If you have plenty of coupons for an item on sale instead of buying 1 or 2 as you need buy as many as you can to stock up just incase it doesn't go on sale again for awhile plus you will never run out! Hwever, only buy products you use do not buy 20 cans of ham because your getting an awesome deal if nobody in your home eats it.

9. Forget brand loyalty. We all have our brands we love ie. Gain, Bounty, Charmin, Mr.Clean... But you do want the best deal for your money. Always buy what you have coupons for if your getting a great deal.

10. Sales, sales, Sales! Always go to the store with the best deals! You can always price match your other products.

11. My favorite tip of all, SHARE! If your not goign to use coupons pass them along to someone who will or if you see someone at the grocery store buying an item and you have a coupon you won't use pass it on to them.
